DVD Review: Delightful “Tangled” is Vintage Disney at Its Best
Walt Disney Pictures’ 50th animated feature, Tangled is a delightful animation with a distinct old-fashioned feel that will take you back to your childhood. A retelling of the classic tale of Rapunzel, the film is bestowed with that undefinable magic touch that lies within all the vintage Disney fairy tales we have grown up watching and loving.
First Teaser Poster for Pixar’s “Brave”
With Cars 2 debuting in theaters this weekend, Disney has released the first teaser poster for Pixar’s Brave which is set to come to theaters on June 22, 2012. With all the sequels coming out of Pixar lately, it will be nice to get something original once again.
Soulless “Cars 2″ Doesn’t Live Up to Pixar’s Legacy
In John Lasseter’s less-than anticipated sequel Cars 2, Speed Racer meets James Bond in an action-packed, periodically entertaining and consistently uneven effort that strikes the wrong note at nearly every turn.
Awesome Full Trailer for “The Muppets”
After three parody teaser trailers, Disney has finally debuted the first full trailer for The Muppets. Props to Disney’s marketing department, they really know what they are doing. While it doesn’t shed that much light on the story, the trailer makes it look like the real deal.

This year’s disappointing crop of summer movies –so far– certainly contributed in my decision to do something I have never done before: Seek out a children animation in the movie theater. Sporting a 99% score on Rotten Tomatoes and a ridiculous 9.1/10 on IMDb at the time of this review, Toy Story 3 is [...]
Movie Review: Alice in Wonderland (2010)
Directed by Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland is a fantasy follow-up to Lewis Carroll’s well known classic tale. Alice is now older, and is dead certain that her previous trip into the rabbit hole was nothing but a dream. So much, that even after days in Wonderland, she believes that she is still in a dream and imagining everything.
Movie Review: Wall-E (2008)
Wall-E, an animation movie produced by Pixar and directed by Andrew Stanton, is particular in the fact that the main characters do not speak. We are left relying on beeps and sounds as well as visual cues to make up the robots’ emotions. Another quirky aspect is that Wall-E is the cute, weak, and apprehensive male robot while EVE is the alpha-female robot packing massive firepower in one of her arm.
Movie Review: Enchanted (2007)
Quick review of Enchanted which I happened to see while waiting for new tires to be mounted on my car (It’s true lol!). Directed by Kevin Lima, Enchanted starts like any old school Disney animation with the lonely 2D Princess Gisele (Amy Adams) serenading a crowd of animals and waiting for her charming prince in the fairy tale land of Andalusia. Soon after comes the aforementioned charming Prince Edward (James Marsden) and the two immediately decide to marry so they can, you know… live happily thereafter
