This sounds odd. With the filming of Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained well underway, Kurt Russell and Sasha Baron Cohen have reportedly dropped out of the picture. While Cohen cited his press tour obligations for the upcoming The Dictator, Russell has yet to provide a reason.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Won’t Appear in QT’s ‘Django Unchained’
Sadly, it looks like the actor had to drop out of his commitment to appear in Quentin Tarantino’s spaghetti western Django Unchained. Gordon-Levitt told MTV about his scheduling conflict:
“No, I’m not going to get to do that. I’d love to, but it just doesn’t work. I’ve been in touch with Quentin about it, and it was so cool to trust me to do this little part in his movie. I would have loved, loved to have done it. He’s one of my very favorite filmmakers, and he was really supportive of me directing, and that meant the world to me.”
