Some movies exists to try to make audiences sympathize with society’s underestimated characters like Ned (Paul Rudd), an overweight, long-haired stoner. He’s a bit too lazy to be called an antihero and the movie about him is called Our Idiot Brother, a title that, to some, implies reckless stoner shenanigans.

Movie Review: Shutter Island (2010)
Directed by Martin Scorsese, Shutter Island is a psychological thriller based on Dennis Lehane novel of the same name. Despite its relatively commonplace premise of reality vs. illusion inside a mental institution, this is a beautifully crafted film with multiple layers of depth that don’t become apparent until the final twist which we all know is coming. The fun is in trying to figure out what the final twist is and witnessing how the characters get there.
Movie Review: Lars and The Real Girl (2007)
Every now and then, you come across a movie that turns out to be a gem and it feels so good to be able to enjoy such a movie among the overwhelming numbers of mediocre to average movies that are forgotten as soon as they are over. Lars and The Real Girl, directed by Craig Gillespie, is one of those movies that you expect very little off and end up being blown away.
