It’s fast becoming an annual tradition to dump a plethora of man-child buddy comedies on audiences, particularly in the first six months of the release year. Unless you can rekindle the magic formula that made 2007 such a successful year for Judd Apatow, you’re likely to come up empty-handed in the substance department.
