Looking forward to director Ridley Scott’s sci-fi flick Prometheus? Well you might want to check out this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly which features a batch of intriguing new images. The film, long rumored to be a prequel to Scott’s 1979 classic Alien, will center around a team of explorers who discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Ridley Scott, Gerard Butler Attached to African Coup Thriller
Ridley Scott has added another projects to the gazillions he is already attached to. Deadline reports that the 74-year-old director is attached to direct and produce a fact-based untitled thriller. Gerard Butler would star as Simon Mann, a former British Army officer who put together a group of mercenaries to attempt a coup d’etat against the government of Equatorial Guinea in 2004.
Director Ridley Scott Will Revisit “Blade Runner”
It seems Ridley Scott is looking back to his earlier work with a lot of nostalgia. He is currently working on the upcoming sci-fi movie Prometheus, a prequel of sort to his classic Alien. Now, Scott has signed up to helm and produce a new installment of his 1982 classic Blade Runner.
