Directed by Steven Spielberg, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull marks the return of the iconic adventurer after nearly two decades out of the limelight. Although it is very pleasing to see Harrison Ford back in the role, this fourth installment to the franchise lacks the energy and thrills of any of the first three movies. Perplexing is the attempt by the filmmakers to mix a 1950′s sci-fi twist to a franchise that has altered the adventure genre forever.
