A set of new pictures from Joss Whedon’s The Avengers have surfaced online (via MovieZine) and some of them are quite better than what we have been getting used to from Disney’s marketing team. Paramount has released the Japanese trailer for Joss Whedon’s much anticipated blockbuster The Avengers (Yahoo Japan via JoBlo) and it might well be even better than the most recent US preview. If you want to see tons of new footage from the movie, including glimpses of the Hellicarrier and Pepper Potts, you really don’t want to miss this trailer.
Marvel has released a set of character posters for Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) in anticipation of the release of The Avengers on May 4. They are nothing too special and seem to come from a larger poster in which all the superheroes are posing against some unseen threat. Check them out after the jump!
It took a long time but we are finally excited for Marvel’s The Avengers. The sheer visceral thrills of the new preview will convert most of any skeptics including yours truly. Unveiled last Wednesday, the trailer for the movie set a record on ITunes with over 13.7 million views in the first 24 hours of its debut.
As the May 4th release date approaches, Marvel is ramping up the its marketing campaign for their upcoming blockbuster The Avengers. On Thursday, a new trailer will arrive but meanwhile, here is the new movie poster featuring all our superheroes striking a pose for the one-sheet.
Well, that’s my take of the picture above. Thor and Agent Coulson are obviously fascinated by something on the computer on the screen, what could it be? Make up your own interpretation because that would certainly more fun than all of these vanilla images Marvel has been releasing as of late.
