Lawless is filled with powerful foreign performers given plenty of excuses to show off their verbal tricks. But instead it is a so-so Shia LaBeouf who takes center stage in a film that struggles to settle on a theme.

Apparently, one cause that Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Tom Hardy feel strongly about is animal poaching. THR reports that the trio of Hollywood stars are looking to produce an untitled drama for Warner Bros. which would center on animal trafficking.
Actors-extraordinaire Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises) and Michael Shannon (Take Shelter) will team up for an adaptation of the Brett C. Leonard play, The Long Red Road, according to Variety. Read more after the jump!
The final chapter to Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy is finally here. Anticipation for a movie doesn’t get much higher than this, and I’m proud to say that the film has lived up to the expectations I had for it. The greatest movie ever? Not quite, but still a great and moving epic.
Featuring an incredible cast that includes Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, Jessica Chastain, Guy Pearce and Gary Oldman, the film is set in Prohibition-era Virginia where the Bondurant brothers run a bootlegging gang but have to contend with the local authorities wanting a cut of their profits.
Last night, we brought you the cover of Entertainment Weekly‘s annual summer preview featuring Batman and Catwoman from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. And as you would expect, we now have a look at the pictures inside the magazine’s latest issue.

This Means War is a rare example of a movie being overtly silly and non-sensical, but yet – on the most simplistic cinematic level – wholly enjoyable. Why you may ask? Director McG struck gold when casting his three charismatic and exhilarating stars: Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hardy and Chris Pine.
