Drilling Basics

At OCS, you may be expected to drill a formation, marching the platoon from place to place as the candidate Platoon Sergeant. As a candidate, if there is one thing that will get you on the good side of the Sergeant Instructors, if there is such thing, is to know how to drill sharply and confidently. The SI’s love drilling!!! They would drill you from dusk to dawn if it was up to them! Here is a very helpful table that summarizes the recommended way to drill by the numbers.
